'Night Traveler', a new work by writer Yoon Ji-ryun, known for 'Boys Over Flowers' and 'Move to Heaven', had completed its main casting last year and was in discussions for channel programming. However, according to a YTN Star report on September 28, 2026, the channel programming ultimately fell through, leading to production delays and the reported departure of Park Bo Gum and Shin Ye Eun. The production company, MI, stated that the project is not canceled but is undergoing schedule reorganization, indicating the situation is still developing.
In contrast, Shin Ye Eun is confirmed to appear in the tvN weekend drama 'Jeong Nyeon', scheduled to air in October 2024. Based on a Naver webtoon of the same name, this drama is set in a 1950s female traditional Korean opera company and features a cast including Kim Tae Ri, Ra Mi Ran, and Jung Eun Chae. Shin Ye Eun will portray Heo Yeong Seo, an elite trainee and rival to the protagonist Yoon Jeong Nyeon (Kim Tae Ri).
