Tak Jae-hoon's Jeju house has been revealed for the first time on SBS's 'My Little Old Boy,' generating significant buzz in Korea. The house, disclosed as a result of a lost bet against Seo Jang-hoon, attracted attention for its unique modular construction, differing from typical celebrity villas. Tak Jae-hoon is known to divide his time between his Seoul and Jeju residences.
According to blog sources, Tak Jae-hoon's Jeju house is a modular home situated in Aewol. The actual construction period was approximately one month, longer than the five days mentioned on air. A neighbor reported that groundwork began in early October, followed by the installation of two large container homes in mid-October. An additional two weeks were spent on stone wall construction, tree planting, gas heating installation, and furniture arrangement, completing the house by late October. The upper floor serves as the bedroom, the lower floor as the living room, and there is also a separate guesthouse.
Neighboring bloggers describe Tak Jae-hoon's Jeju house as minimalist, comfortable, and smartly designed. They expressed that while they might have expected a grand townhouse for a celebrity, the actual home exudes a more relatable charm. Bloggers also noted that interior elements, such as the green sofa shown on TV, are consistent with the actual house, conveying a sense of familiarity with Tak Jae-hoon's Jeju life as a neighbor.
