Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo Star in Netflix's Supernatural Comedy 'Wonderfuls'

Netflix's original series 'Wonderfuls,' starring Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo, is generating buzz in the Korean content market. Set in the late 1999s, the drama is a comedic adventure where ordinary people unexpectedly gain superpowers. Director Yoo In-sik described the work as 'the story of un-wonderful fools,' portraying the struggles of clumsy superpowered individuals rather than grand heroes.

'Wonderfuls' was released worldwide on Netflix on May 15, 2026, consisting of 12 episodes (some reports indicate 8 episodes). Park Eun Bin plays Eun Chae-ni, a teleporting superpowered character, while Cha Eun Woo portrays Lee Woon-jung, who hides his telekinetic abilities. Choi Dae-hoon and Im Sung-jae also appear, and Jung Yi-seo as the villain Seok Joo-ran adds tension to the plot. The series also marks a reunion between director Yoo In-sik and Park Eun Bin.

Bloggers praise Park Eun Bin's vibrant acting and Cha Eun Woo's calm demeanor, noting their excellent chemistry. While the visual chemistry and acting ensemble are highly regarded, some viewers expressed disappointment with the rushed pacing in the latter half and unresolved plot points. Nevertheless, 'Wonderfuls' is described as a work that humorously depicts the growth of ordinary individuals through their superpowers, leaving a lasting impression.
