Drama 'My Mister' OST, Re-examined Alongside IU's Acting Prowess

The tvN drama 'My Mister' continues to be discussed since its broadcast, earning recognition as a 'life drama'. The performances of Lee Sun-kyun and Lee Ji-eun (IU), writer Park Hae-young's realistic dialogue, and director Kim Won-seok's delicate direction combined to portray the lives and wounds of ordinary people, and their journey of understanding each other, resonating deeply with many viewers.

The drama is a human drama depicting two individuals with different wounds finding solace and recovering their lives. IU, in particular, received acclaim for this work as a turning point in her acting career, with her portrayal of Lee Ji-an's weary and lifeless eyes commanding the screen without dialogue. The OST also enhanced the drama's melancholic yet warm atmosphere, deepening viewer immersion.

Bloggers highlight 'Dear Moon' from the 'My Mister' OST, sung by Jehwi and penned by IU, explaining that its lyrics convey Lee Ji-an's confessions about her difficult life while looking at her grandmother and the moon. This song delivers a message of hope amidst despair, further intensifying the comfort and emotion provided by the drama.
