Song Kang stars as a piano prodigy Kang Bio in his comeback drama tvN 'Four Hands' after military discharge.

Actor Song Kang is gaining attention for his role as piano prodigy Kang Bio in the tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands', marking his return after military discharge. 'Four Hands', his first project since his discharge in October 2025, is a drama depicting the friendship, love, competition, and growth of musical geniuses, with Song Kang portraying the perfectionist pianist Kang Bio.

Episode 8 of 'Four Hands' achieved its highest rating of 7.85% based on Nielsen Korea's national paid platform households, proving its popularity. Kang Bio, played by Song Kang, is a promising talent expected to sweep the world's top three competitions due to his innate talent and diligence. Lee Jun-young and Jang Gyu-ri play Choi Jeong-yo and Hong Jae-in, respectively, forming a relationship of competition and friendship with Song Kang. Song Kang reportedly took continuous piano lessons even after his discharge to improve his playing skills for the role.

Bloggers noted that seeing Song Kang, previously with short military hair, now sitting at the piano with a cold and delicate gaze, gave the impression that 'Actor Song Kang has returned'. They also found it impressive that 'Four Hands' focuses on the musical growth of the three young protagonists rather than a simple love triangle.
