Actor Jo In-sung's iconic 'fist crying' scene is once again a hot topic, fueled by discussions about a potential remake of the drama 'What Happened in Bali'. Aired in 2004, this series, starring Ha Ji-won, Jo In-sung, So Ji-sub, and Park Ye-jin, realistically depicted love, desire, and class conflict, garnering significant attention at the time. Jo In-sung's emotional performance as Jung Jae-min, particularly the 'fist crying' moment, remains a legendary scene widely referenced even today.

The scene features Jo In-sung receiving a phone call and crying intensely with his fist near his mouth, a portrayal that solidified his presence as a young actor. Jo In-sung himself clarified in an entertainment program that he never actually put his fist in his mouth during the scene, attributing the widespread 'fist in mouth' imagery to exaggerated parodies. News of a 'What Happened in Bali' remake first emerged in December 2017, with the original director potentially returning, though production differences were reported.
