Jeon Soyeon's New Song 'Resign' Captures K-Office Worker Sentiment with GIAN84's Narration

Recently, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon's solo album title track 'Resign (Narr. GIAN84)' has garnered significant attention and empathy among K-office workers. The song addresses the weighty topic of resignation, a common sentiment among modern employees, in a lighthearted and honest manner, offering a thrilling sense of liberation. Soyeon directly participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, showcasing her unique artistic vision.

'Resign' officially samples and pays homage to Ex's 'Please Take Care of Me,' the grand prize winner of the 2005 MBC University Song Festival. Soyeon personally contacted Lee Sang-mi of Ex to obtain formal copyright approval, creating a cross-generational resonance between Ex's youthful spirit and Soyeon's cynical 'resignation' message. Broadcaster GIAN84's raw and realistic narration further enhances the song's authentic emotion and wit.

Bloggers suggest that the song can be interpreted not just as a simple resignation, but as a journey to reclaim one's deferred life. The track features a catchy melody line combined with cheerful hip-hop/pop beats, and is praised for delivering a refreshing message to office workers on their Monday commutes. Many employees consider this song an 'empowering anthem' that articulates their feelings.
