The Misunderstanding Behind Ha Seung-jin and Dex's Physical Altercation on 'Bloody Game 2'

The physical altercation between former basketball player Ha Seung-jin and broadcaster Dex on Wavve's 'Bloody Game 2' in 2023 has resurfaced as a topic of discussion. The incident occurred when Dex strategically destroyed the 'mansion's symbol' that Ha Seung-jin was guarding, leading to Ha Seung-jin's furious reaction and a physical confrontation. This event is understood to have arisen from Dex's strategic play within the game's rules combined with a significant misunderstanding on Ha Seung-jin's part.

During the game, Ha Seung-jin was tasked with protecting the mansion's symbol, while Dex's objective was to destroy it. Recognizing the difficulty of overpowering the 221cm tall Ha Seung-jin, Dex engaged him in conversation to lower his guard, then seized an opening to break the symbol. Immediately after the symbol was destroyed, Ha Seung-jin reacted with intense anger, confronting Dex, which escalated into a physical struggle. The primary reason for Ha Seung-jin's outburst was his mistaken belief that a whistle blown as Dex turned away was Dex mocking him, when in fact, it was blown by a teammate named Knox.

Bloggers analyzing the situation generally conclude that Dex's actions were a legitimate and optimal play within the game's rules. Ha Seung-jin himself later clarified the misunderstanding, admitting his actions were wrong and apologizing. Dex, a former UDT member, also left a strong impression on viewers by standing his ground against Ha Seung-jin's aggression, showcasing his resilient demeanor.
