ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Love Doctor' is scheduled to premiere on October 5th. Starring Chu Young-woo and Kim So-hyun, this series is drawing significant attention as it is known to be the final work of the late director Ahn Pan-seok, who directed 'Secret Love Affair' and 'Something in the Rain.' The drama is set in a robotics research lab, depicting the romance and growth of a doctoral student who is an expert in robotics but clumsy in love, and a woman who embarks on a new life path.
Chu Young-woo plays Park Min-jae, a robotics engineering doctoral student who lost a leg due to illness during his high school swimming career and found a new purpose in robotics. Kim So-hyun portrays Im Yu-jin, a character who was struggling with her career path before graduating from fashion design and eventually entered the robotics lab, where she meets Min-jae. The drama consists of 12 episodes, airing every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM KST on ENA, and will also be available on Disney+ and Genie TV.
Bloggers note that 'Love Doctor' is not just about the process of falling in love, but also emphasizes the journey of young people who have lost their dreams or are searching for their path, as they discover new lives and love. The expectation is that viewers will resonate with this youth romance, where two protagonists, whose lives didn't go as planned, become each other's sanctuary.
