Seoul Haneul Park is drawing visitors with its diverse autumn blooms, including lycoris, eulalia, and kochia. In September, the red lycoris flowers are in full bloom, creating a spectacular view along the Metasequoia path. The silver eulalia is expected to reach its peak in October, making the park a prominent spot to enjoy the autumn atmosphere in the heart of Seoul.
The 25th Seoul Eulalia Festival is scheduled to take place from October 17th to 23rd throughout Haneul Park. The festival will feature a variety of programs, including an opening ceremony, an eulalia bouquet making experience zone, photo zones, wish zones, busking performances, and an exhibition by park photographers. Haneul Park, a former landfill site that was ecologically restored, is situated on high ground, offering panoramic views of Seoul, including Bukhansan Mountain and the Han River. The park operates daily from 06:00 to 22:00, with winter hours (October to March) ending at 21:00.
For convenient access, visitors can use the Nanji Jungang-ro public parking lot or the Maengkkongyi electric cart. The electric cart transports visitors from Nanjicheon Park to the summit of Haneul Park, with fares of 2,000 won for a one-way trip and 3,000 won for a round trip. Lycoris flowers are predominantly found in the Poet's Street area along the Metasequoia path and are currently in full bloom. Visitors can plan their routes and utilize parking tips to fully enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery.
