Actor Ji Chang Wook's appearance on the SBS variety show 'What Can I Do For You - The Secretaries' recently drew attention to the vacuum cleaner he used. The Dreame T16 Pro Steam model, which Ji Chang Wook gifted to his seniors Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Gyu, sparked significant public interest and a surge in related searches immediately after the broadcast.
The Dreame T16 Pro Steam is an all-in-one wet and dry vacuum cleaner that combines vacuuming, mopping, high-temperature steam, hot water cleaning, and foam washing functions. It boasts a maximum suction power of 30,000Pa, up to 200℃ steam (SaunaClean™), and up to 90℃ hot water (ThermoRinse™) cleaning. It also features a FoamWash function, effective for odor management in pet-owning households. Its ultra-slim design, measuring 9.85cm, allows for easy cleaning under low furniture, and the brush roller is automatically cleaned and dried with 95℃ hot air after use for hygienic maintenance.
Bloggers highlighted that unlike conventional mops, this product supplies clean water and collects dirty water separately. They noted that the steam and hot water functions are particularly useful for removing grease and stubborn stains in kitchens, and the foam wash aids in odor control for pet owners. However, they advised that the manufacturer's stated steam temperatures are based on test conditions, so actual performance may vary depending on the usage environment. They also recommended checking floor material guidelines before using steam on heat and moisture-sensitive surfaces like hardwood floors.
