Currently, he is actively expanding his scope of work as a broadcaster, YouTuber, and actor.
Dex was born on June 9, 1995, in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do. He is approximately 179cm tall and graduated from Suncheon Jeil High School. His stage name 'Dex' is derived from a term used during his UDT service, and after his discharge, he launched his YouTube channel 'Dex101'.
