The '4th Taean Hanwoo Kkotji Watso Festival,' a representative gourmet event in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, will be held for three days from September 4 (Friday) to September 6 (Sunday), 2026, at Kkotji Beach in Anmyeondo. This festival offers an opportunity to savor 100% Taean Hanwoo against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset, and it is prepared to be even richer as part of the '2026 Visit Taean Year.'
At the festival, visitors can purchase 100% Taean Hanwoo at discounted prices from the on-site direct sales market. A large 300-seat dome tent self-grill zone is available where guests can grill their meat immediately for a table setting fee of 3,000 KRW per person. This year, a new chef's cuisine zone features Michelin Guide chefs presenting unique dishes using Taean's local specialties, such as Hanwoo skewers, yukhoe bibimbap, and pulled pork tacos, available in limited quantities. Additionally, a stamp tour across eight zones within the festival grounds offers Taean agricultural and marine products as rewards for completion.
Visitors can use the Kkotji Coastal Park parking lot, and it is recommended to arrive in the morning to avoid peak weekend hours. The festival provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy high-quality Hanwoo at affordable prices, witness the beautiful sunset over the West Sea, and participate in various experiences and performances.
