For the 2026 Seoul International Fireworks Festival, the entire Nodeulseom island will be transformed into the 'Orange Play Zone,' a paid viewing area. Unlike previous years, only pre-booked visitors will be granted entry. This zone is designed as a comprehensive cultural and artistic space, offering not just fireworks viewing but also performances, various experiential programs, and F&B options, drawing significant attention.
The Orange Play Zone will be open on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with entry starting from 1 PM. Ticket prices vary by section, ranging from 110,000 to 220,000 KRW, and can be pre-purchased up to 5 tickets per person via the Orange Play app. A diverse range of programs includes stage performances, recreation events, AR fireworks experiences, DIY fireworks candles and straps, and a fireworks photo exhibition.
Bloggers highlight that the Nodeulseom Orange Play Zone offers a private experience away from city noise, situated on a unique island in the middle of the Han River. The 8-hour festival content, running from 1 PM to 9 PM, is seen as adding value beyond simple fireworks viewing, creating a multi-sensory integrated festival. The availability of curated F&B stalls for relaxed dining is also noted as a positive aspect.
