The 30th Busan Sea Festival, a representative summer event in Busan, will take place for seven days from August 7th to 13th at Dadaepo Beach. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this year's festival will feature dynamic programs such as the Dadaepo Fireworks Show, Dadaepocha, and Sunset Beach Club, set against the backdrop of Dadaepo's sea and sunset. Due to the heatwave, the festival's start time has been changed from 5 PM to 6 PM, with some daytime programs canceled or adjusted.
On the opening day, August 7th, a spectacular Dadaepo Fireworks Show will light up the sky for approximately 17 minutes starting at 8 PM, followed by an after-performance. On August 8th and 9th, the Dadaepocha stage, accommodating 2,000 people, will host performances by popular artists including Heize, Paul Kim, Band Kirin, and Tokcapella. Additionally, various experiential and supplementary programs for all ages, such as beach cinema, healing busking, and marine leisure sports, will be continuously available.
Bloggers note that Dadaepo Beach offers excellent public transportation accessibility, directly connected to Dadaepo Beach Station on Busan Metro Line 1. Its shallow waters and wide sandy beach make it a safe and enjoyable venue for all visitors. It is advised to check the updated operating hours due to the heatwave before visiting, ensuring a cool and enjoyable summer night experience with diverse programs.
