SEVENTEEN's Vernon: Age, Profile, and Recent Activities Including Military Service and New Single

SEVENTEEN member Vernon is currently a topic of interest due to the commencement of his alternative military service and the simultaneous release of his self-composed single. This has led to increased public curiosity regarding his profile, age, nationality, and recent appearances on television programs.

Vernon, whose birth name is Choi Hansol, was born on February 18, 1998, in New York City, making him 28 years old as of 2026. He holds dual Korean and American nationality, having moved to Korea at age four. He debuted with SEVENTEEN in 2015 as a rapper, actively participating in songwriting and composing for the group and his solo works. His recent activities include a solo concert in July 2026, the release of his single 'I'll Be Back' on August 20, 2026, and an appearance on SBS's '꼬리에 꼬리를 무는 그날 이야기' where he shared personal anecdotes.

Local bloggers often describe Vernon as an artist with a distinct personal style, noting his unique background of being born in New York and growing up in Seoul's Hongdae area. They appreciate his fluent command of both Korean and English, though he finds Korean more comfortable for daily communication. His calm and honest personality, particularly evident in variety show appearances, along with his parents' artistic background, contribute to his image as a thoughtful and musically dedicated individual.
