NewJeans Releases 4-Member Content for 4th Anniversary, Sparking Comeback Speculation

NewJeans is currently generating significant buzz in Korea following the release of new official content featuring four members (Minji, Hanni, Haerin, Hyein) on July 22, 2026, to commemorate their 4th debut anniversary. This content, titled "2026 Summer of NewJeans," has sparked discussions about the group's future activities and a potential shift to a four-member system, especially after a period of reduced group appearances.

The newly released video and photos mark the first time these four members have appeared together in official content in approximately two years, following their Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' in summer 2024. While ADOR has not explicitly confirmed Minji's official return or the group's future structure, her inclusion in the content, alongside Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni, strongly suggests a focus on a four-member lineup. Concurrently, Daniel shared a separate personal update on her individual channel, conveying a message of hope amidst challenging circumstances, which has led to mixed reactions among fans and observers.

Local bloggers express a mix of excitement for the four members' reunion and a sense of poignancy regarding Daniel's separate communication, particularly given ongoing legal disputes. Fans are eagerly anticipating the group's return to the stage, with comments reflecting strong emotional responses. Additionally, the group's past successful Japanese debut album 'Supernatural,' known for its collaboration with Takashi Murakami and unique "drawstring bag version" packaging, continues to be appreciated by fans for its artistic value and practical design.
