Korean music icon Jo Yong-pil and his band The Great Birth are embarking on a 2026-2027 national tour, generating significant buzz among fans. While the tour is officially named "2026 Jo Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert," it extends into early 2027, with ticket sales for various cities opening sequentially in late 2026. The Gwangju concert, in particular, saw its tickets released in September 2026, leading to high anticipation.
The Gwangju performance is scheduled for January 2, 2027, at 6 PM, at the Kimdaejung Convention Center. Tickets for this event, along with Daejeon and Incheon, became available on September 22, 2026, starting at 3 PM through YES24 Ticket. Prices range from VIP seats at 176,000 KRW to A seats at 110,000 KRW, with the concert running for approximately 130 minutes and open to ages 8 and above.
Local bloggers highlighted the convenience of the ticket opening schedule, which followed the actual concert dates sequentially, making it easier for fans to track. They advised prospective attendees to check YES24 Ticket directly for real-time availability, as seats for the Gwangju concert and other tour stops were quickly being booked after the September 22nd release.
